My personal philosophy is for information be accessible and the opportunity to serve birthing people on their journey be attainable for all who desire to do the work.
As a wee nugget of a baby made her way into the world she looked around for the first time and was grinning ear to ear. She was gazing around, breathing for the first time, pinking up beautifully and taking it all in, unfazed by the back rubbing, foot scratching by the nurses, or the bright lights and noises. She observed things around her with wonder and sweetly took both of her hands, brought them together, interweaving her fingers perfectly into prayer position, seeming absolutely delighted.
What a lovely way to start a life. ~KS
